Page Governance & Legacy Review

The website contains a large historical content and research layer. A page is not removed simply because it is short. Each page should have a clear purpose before it is consolidated, improved or retired.

Review priorities

  1. Product pages: preserve URLs and catalogue identity.
  2. Local pages: verify genuine service-area relevance and avoid doorway-style duplication.
  3. Content pages: improve pages that answer a distinct customer question.
  4. Reference/evidence pages: retain useful provenance and remove only genuinely obsolete material after review.
  5. Legacy artifacts: review historical audit/report pages separately from customer-facing SEO content.

Non-destructive rule

No product page or product URL is deleted or renamed by this governance layer. Any future retirement should be an explicit migration decision with a replacement URL, redirect plan and sitemap update.

Local SEO rule

Location pages should represent real service coverage or useful local information. The site should not create near-identical pages solely by swapping a Kolkata locality name.

Evidence-first information

Use dedicated pages for products, brands, services, local information and technical guidance. Manufacturer-specific claims remain source-gated; customer reviews are treated as experience evidence rather than technical proof.
