During this curing window, avoid scrubbing or applying water to the surface. For best results on new plaster, use Birla Opus Interior Primer and wait the full 28-day plaster curing period before any painting begins. In Kolkata's high-humidity conditions, this patience pays off significantly — the polymer forms a denser film at lower humidity levels. Thin with clean water only (max 10% by volume) for the first coat.
