Sika Top Seal-107 uses a carefully balanced polymer-to-cement ratio. NEVER add extra cement to the mix thinking it will make it stronger — this disrupts the polymer network and actually REDUCES flexibility and waterproofing performance. Mix exactly as per the manufacturer's recommended ratio (typically 1 part liquid to 3-3.5 parts powder by volume). Apply in two perpendicular coats (second coat at 90 degrees to first) using a stiff brush in circular motions, ensuring all pinholes are filled. For terrace applications, always protect the cured membrane with a screed or tile bedding layer.
